Automation FAQ
What does needful-apps automate?
Industrial processes along three paths: robotics (robot cells, handling, machine tending), custom software (order processing, planning, reporting, AI agents) and custom hardware (controllers, sensors, test rigs, retrofits). The best solution is often a combination.
Does needful-apps develop its own hardware?
Yes. When the market offers no suitable component, we build it: control electronics, sensor integration, test rigs and retrofit modules that connect older machines to modern systems. Electronics and firmware come from one source.
At what production volume does automation pay off?
Repetition and effort matter more than volume. Even small batches pay off when a task recurs several times a day, when errors are expensive or when skilled staff are tied up with monotonous work. We calculate this together during the free initial consultation.
Does needful-apps handle maintenance after the project?
Yes, on request. With our log server Leif we monitor equipment in operation and spot faults before they cause downtime. Alternatively you run it yourself and we train your team for it.
Does needful-apps work with small companies?
Yes. Our references range from craft businesses to large enterprises. Smaller companies in particular benefit from not having to commission robotics, software and hardware separately.
